One end has been filled with epoxy as the edge was getting thin. I recommend coating entire white side of aluminum with epoxy. My advice is coat the entire inside with epoxy and it will last many years. This transmission, bell housing cover goes on the right side of the bell housing, it has some Pitts but it functions without leaking.
I have some more of these and have a left side two.
